Church: Our Lady of Lourdes. School: Salesian School for Boys. Goshen, New York; St. John's University, Queens, New York. My Dad came to the U.S. as a child and came to love the freedoms our country represents. He felt so strongly that he embraced the opportunity to serve his new country. As his legacy, he passed a deep rooted spirit of patriotism and American pride in each succeeding generation of his family. (note from daughter, Julie Whipple)
